Because of its position in the center of the state, Torrance County is considered to be “the Heart of New Mexico”. Unfortunately, due to decades of its problems going unaddressed, that “heart” is bordering on cardiac arrest. We can’t expect the situation in our county to improve by continuing to elect the same type of people who have ignored the problems of the county in the past, offering no solutions beyond “let’s keep doing things the same way that we’ve always done them.”

Bill Peifer offers fresh ideas, based on logic and reason, instead of considering only what’s best for a small group of affluent people. It’s time to start moving Torrance County into the 21st Century, with ideas that benefit the majority of its citizens.
